Where the Wind Blows

Where the Wind Blows
Two friends move through a mysterious and ever changing landscape. Sometimes fast and furious, occasionally dreamy and tender, the pair battle with themselves, each other and the world around them - but ultimately understanding and friendship prevail.
“it’s delightful, engaging and fun”

This piece is touring schools in the UK Autumn 09 - Spring 2010. If you’re interested in booking a performance and workshop package see our information pack for teachers.

TAKE; a dance in the park
Directed by Rachel Freeman for Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company

Two linked dancers on harnesses spinning

Three dancers disabled and non-disabled tug, twist and turn through the fact and fiction of the past, in an aerial dance performance of daring delight.

TAKE; a dance in the park celebrates a rich and colourful history of live outdoor performance from 1809 to 2009, trapeze artists to street performers, woollen tweed to lycra. Bringing it into the 21st century and onto a spectacular aluminium dome rig where dancers magically glide, float and spin, narrowly missing each other in a playful journey through the archives.
Following performances as part of Sepia; a small festival of dance, TAKE has continued touring the UK and is availabe for outdoor events in 2010.
