Blue Eyed Soul are a registered centre for the delivery of Open College Network Courses.
OCN work with providers to help develop curriculum & qualifications to support participation and progression.
The purpose of OCN is to accredit programmes of learning offered by member organisations which give recognition to achievement through the award of credits. Credits are awarded for the successful completion of learning outcomes. To gain credit it is expected that the learner will complete 30 hrs of learning for each credit.
INCLUSIVE DANCE PRACTICE
Eyed Soul Dance Company offers formal accredited training for its employees and workshop participants who embark on its specialised dance training.
Throughout the training offered, Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company will be sharing its expertise gained through 15 years of inclusive dance practice, supporting disabled and non - disabled dancers alike on their career and creative pathways.
THE INCLUSIVE DANCE PRACTICE COURSE AIMS TO:
- Offer high quality accredited training in inclusive dance practice.
- To offer training in four main areas, dance technique, aerial dance, performance and inclusive teaching skills.
- To increase participants awareness of disability issues.
- Give a strong foundation to those wishing to develop a career in inclusive dance.
- Offer clear explanations of the company’s methodology to compliment practical tuition.
