Envision Youth Dance Group - Telford
From: Thursday, July 1st, 2010 - To: Thursday, March 31st, 2011
Blue Eyed Soul Dance and Transit-Trix dance are coming together to create a vibrant and diverse youth dance group called Envision.
The project will bring together disabled and non-disabled young dancers from different backgrounds, ages 12-18 and of different abilities.
The dance group will be learning street dance and contemporary creative dance moves. The sessions will be focussed equally on learning new moves as well as creating and exploring their own ideas. This will build to a public performance piece in Winter 2010 fusing the two dance forms.
The aim is to have 12 members of this group, meeting on a weekly basis. They will need to be dedicated and make a commitment to the project, and anticipate extra rehearsal time as the performance nears.
Weekly classes will take place for 1.5 hours in Telford, day to be confirmed.
Venue: Telford
Type: Other
Cost: FREE to disabled participants, £2 per session non-disabled
